Consultant apartment got broke in

• Last friday, got to know that my consultant apartment got broke in during morning.
• He came to office at 3am morning to do some server installation while his wife was in the apartment.
• She got robbed at knife point and thank god, nothing happen to my consultant wife. They both are from India....gosh.
• Met him today and his wife still in shock. He will send and fly back with his wife back to India.
• In fact, he is very important to me in my team. He is one of my lieutenant ... gosh, cant wait for him to be back in a week time by himself.

My Speciality Pasta recipe - Spicy Pasta Garlic butter Prawn

• For 2 pax
• Ingredients:-
  - 2 bowl of pasta (spiralli) - boil in water, make sure is just ready cook! 
  - Half table spoon of chili flakes
  - 1 tea full spoon of soya sauce
  - 2 spoon of Extra Virgin oil - Must be extra virgin!!
  - 2 spoon of butter (low cholesterol)
  - 5 medium garlic - chopped into fine slices
  - 5 medium/large size prawn
  - 1 large onion - chopped into slices
  - OPTIONAL :- Crabstick, Squid ... NO chicken or beef meat! u dunwan to spoilt the taste
• Method:-
  1. Hot the pan with extra virgin oil. Then dump the chopped garlic and onion and stir fried it with small fire. Cooked for 2 minutes
  2. Then throw in the prawns and fried it together with the garlic and onion.
  3. Put in the soya sauce. ~ u get a nice cooking smell.
  4. Throw in the pasta and then the butter and chili flakes. Stir fried it!
• Wala, done....will post my pic food next time cause after each time finish cooking, will eat it immediately...Tell me how does it taste!

BSTEAD - Announce profit at the right time ~ LUCKY!

• When i saw dow jones down 300 pts, my heart was so down and expect KLSE will drop badly.
• Then early morning, my remiser called me and told me that Boustead group announce their earning....gosh .... but not done. Waiting for market to open at 9am....
• Went up 5 sen but not a good news cause bought at RM 5.05 and close last friday at RM4.98....still not yet break even. Then an hour later....my remiser called and say touch 5.25... up 25 sen.....yes....break even finally.
• Finally, day high 5.40 but sold at 5.35 .... oh boy...thought it will go below RM 4.98 when the market drop 10 pts when just open.

Hoi Gong Cao Lunch Pics

• Trust me, the durian pancake is superbly nice. It taste just like the real durian.
• The cod fish is great...no doubt.

Summary - Hoi Gong Zao lunch

• I arrive Mandarin Oriental sharp at 12pm after finish meeting at klcc.
• Most of my colleagues arrive bout 12.30pm. But the couple dato K and datin K arrive at 1pm as my boss call to hei choi before they arrive cause everyone been waiting quite long.
• Anyhow, the food was amazing nice and good. Pics will be posted up soon.

• Aiyoh, i am chasing gordon ramsey reality show.
• I like when he scold and gone mad. He really in love with cooking.
• Anyway, I followed cause his cook is simple and give me some thoughts on the recipe he show.

KLSE drop 10 pts - Yay

• I just like when market drop, easy for me to buy and sell and make profit. ~ stick to buffet law!!
• When mkt drop is a discount, why sell? should buy like during our shopping sales.
• CARLAW was stunning today!!. Last two days, one of my client notice this counter drop to it lowest price. In fact he ask me whether is it good to contra .... i just say can go in and buy and see whether it can rebound cause is quite cheap. Bought 200 lot on 27/02/2008 at 11 sen and hope to sell within T4 period.
• Bursa up 40 sen and sold for my clients ...~ read my trading blog for more update.
• Hope SAPCRES, AIRASIA, MAYBULK and BSTEAD will perform next week. 

Update for the day

· Gosh, can blog from home only now onwards .... dunno why my company banned the login page site.
· This morning, was a suprise for me when i reach office in the morning, I was the only one in my team .... my team members went to KLCC for meeting. Anyhow, it was nice to work alone for a moment.
· Lunch time, went with Johny to KLCC 4th Flr food court. We ordered porridge...amazingly the porridge was very nice. Check it out the kopitiam at 4th Floor foodcourt.
· After lunch, went jalan jalan with Johny, Alvin, Dato K n Datin K .... went to Sony center to check out latest gadget. Then went to PArkson, to check out my crystal. Gosh, it was so tempting to buy but my hands holding to my wallet.

Hoi Gong Zao

· This lunch treat suppose to have after CNY holiday and before Chap Goh Mei. But since everyone is busy with their work.....i try to organize it.
· Went down to Mandarin Oriental Hotel and ask for the menu. Then discuss with my boss on the price and the dishes.
· I felt pity that his wallet will get burnt. The food we selected was really good and cant wait to taste and eat. Will blog bout it tmrw.
· Anyhow, we deserve for it.

Weekend Plan

· I will be spending my Saturday by myself as Yve got her company event from morning till evening.
· She will be going for go-karting and driver's training.
· As usual, I will be playing my badminton.
· Then on Sunday, plan to go for hair cut at One Utama and then buy my scholl sandle and yve wanna get her shoes as well.
· Hope will have a peaceful and relaxing Sunday.

VIA Investment

· Tomorrow will be busy updating my investors account and update them on their investment.
· Starting March, I will be paying dividen of 30sen monthly for every 5k my client invested. Example: If he invest 50k , then he will get RM 3 each month.
· The dividen rate will be adjusted depend on the market condition.
· Since February, been giving discount to my clients of RM 5 for each transaction.
· Guess this is my commitment to them. Don't mind to do a small charity and make everyone happy.

Update for the day

• I am recovering from my sore eyes. Dunno how i get it but been pain for the past 3 days.
• Back from playing badminton just now. My first time to join this Tuesday session which sponsor by company sports club.
• The last badminton session after a month of holiday, i pancit after 2 games but today got improvement a bit, can last for 5 games without stopping. Glad that my stamina is coming back up.
• While waiting the washing machine to stop ... watching the The F Word by Gordon Ramsey...famous chef in Hell's Kitchen.... i respect him cause he can tell whether the meat is cooked raw, medium, well done by looking at the meat texture and even the taste for pasta without tasting it ????
• To me all food, taste good and the same for me....hehehe.
• Talking bout my work, lately been travelling here and there, Plaza Sentral, KLCC and Sg Besi office .... then took me an hour just to prepare my claim expenses for month of December last year and January.
• Obviously been stress and busy with work lately .... dats why my colleague told me that i lose weight significantly .... waliow....trying to make me happy or is it real. Cause when I am stress, i dun think of food and can work till 2-3pm without lunch.
• Bloody hell my company BLock My JOurNal site cause suspected of Malware virus. Now i able to Blog from home only.

Been busy over the Saturday and Sunday weekend.

• For the past 2 weeks, me and yve been busy over the weekend.
• We are selling some items from the previous tenant which they left over like table, chair, cabinet, plane models and etc over lelong.com.my. 
• Yve manage to get a buyer to buy the computer table at a cheap price. So we met up with this buyer last Sunday.
• Been shifting some stuff from the shop to my home. Now my home like a junkyard.
• We manage to sell a ikea stand light and the buyer came to my home and collect it.
• Will post some unsold items in here with a cheap price!! Hope to clear it asap.

• Recently, there is a new client trade under me .... by friend recommendation. Guess everyone is taking the advantage of weak KLSE despite of recession.
• Meanwhile US mkt been steadily going up buT oUr KLSE like shiT due tO election.

• What i've been up to ... 'WORK'. Dunno why when i mention i am busy with work, ppl do not believe me and laugh .... gosh .... i am serious when comes to work.

• Been busy visiting friends lately and my relative home. It was a very busy CNY year for me....dunno y??? no earning extra money but spending a lot of money only...sigh.

• Ok...got to know from the forum owner...dat many users asked why i did not update my trading blog.... geee ...one word, busy with word and compiling financial investment report for my investors.
• KLSE been shaky since last week due to election and market correction. While US mkt up and our KLSE down terrible.
• Anyway, is a good time to sapu and buy some cheap blue counters. My investors busy depositing money and I got no time to blog at the moment. Stock market really pump up my blood pressure.

• Brought Johny & Wan Lin to visit the famous Jenjarom temple.
• Damn, it was packed even we arrive bout 5pm. Last year, I remembered manage to get a car park near the entrance....dis year...need to park very far away.
• Yve went to pray and do some charity donation. While me and johny busy taking pics.

Gambling @ my place

• Have 3 sessions hosted at my place. Guess the final session is for my colleagues (min RM 5 bet). Last year, is Yve colleagues came to my place to open table (min RM 10 bet).
• I would say this year is a good year for me and yve for gambling.
• Yve first time played In-between and she won RM 80 with rm 1 only. Highest jackpot she bet all is RM 53 and me RM 41 .....so scary to kena 'tiang'. There is one period that me and yve only sapu all the jackpot .... wow .... the feeling is so damn syiok.
• Happy that my friends came over to my place and setup a mini-casino. I think they will be commenting that coming to house and donate cash only.
• So sorry to those who had lost, but it was once a year only nia.

Louis Baby Fullmoon

• 16th feb, went to Bdr Botanic to celebrate Louis 1st born baby fullmoon.
• Very cute looking baby boy. The name very 'ying' too - Jovi Lee ..... from the name Bon Jovi.

• For the past week, been busy visiting friends.
• Even till now, havent visit my relative yet.

My V-day celebration

• Me n yve did not celebrate any valentine celebration. Just had a simple home cook dinner nia.
• I reached home from work at 8pm .... have a quick dinner as yve cook at home. She cook my special dish, king crab shark fin soup ~ fried egg ~ long bean with abalone stick .... yum yum.

• This CNY year special for me cause went back to my in-law house for re-union.

• As for gambling, been a good luck year as a Banker ... same goes to my Boss as he is winning being a banker.
• Did not manage to play mah jong at all till now.
• Back to work on the first day - office was calm and peaceful.

• I rememebered after CNY holiday, stock market just shoot up and me rushing in to buy counters.

• It was my first time ever to vodmit when consume wine .... gosh ....there is just too much wine in my stomach dat day ... can't remember i consume how many bottles.

CNY Gamble @ my place...

• As usual, normal n usual gamblers come my place and pai nin and as well to fatt choi.
• This year gambling table move to my dining hall cause much bigger space and can sit properly. Easy for the banker to distribute card too.
• Gamblers are treated like VIP .... must keep them happy so they will continue to bet big big.
• Congrats to Dae, big winner of the night.
• As usual tradition, the winner will spent mamak after the gambling session.
• My finger start to feel numb after 2 1/2 hr of bcoming banker ... but i enjoyed it so much.

CNY EVE Celebration @ Melaka

• For the first time, i did not join my parent for reunion dinner but instead went back to my in-law place to have re-union dinner with them.
• I wanna go and see and experience the CNY outside from KL.
• I really enjoy it....early in the morning, saw lion dance and firecrackers....really different from KL feeling.

My new Helicopter toy

• Seems easy to play and control but it is NOT.
• Darn, trying to control and still needs lot of training to control well.
• Very fun to have this toy .... fly above my roof and across my neighbour house.

Maxis Family Day 26th Jan

• Really fun family day but too bad, spoilt and stop by the heavy downpour.
• Nice to see 2 mins of firework performance.
• Nice food and nice game stall to win lots of goodies

• Few of my colleagues in the same floor envy to see my team receive lots of hamper.
• Can't blame them cause they receive problems and customer complaints instead of hamper.

• Din blog bcos this project...take up my 99% of time in the office. No time to do my own stuff but to manage and chase ppl.
• Sorry cant mention real names here ... but i need to let go out all my anger in myself. This vendor can make me go insane.....esp their proj mgr. Sad to see our internal prj manager so blur and dunno wat they r thinking and fail to manage the vendor well.
• Luckily got few SM thinks the same way as I am and they are so pissed off. Everyone tell themself that they will never wanna work with the vendor again.
• Imagine in a mtg room, we fire the vendor until their prj mgr in shock and cant say a word. The look bloody stunt and face went pale ....

Boiling Project

• Very sick n tired working this vendor X for this Project A. Can't stand their no-care attitude and washing hand .... esp from the PM.
• Irritates me a lot and the end users as well. When assign to be the test lead while I did not present in the meeting .... buta buta my name was selected.
• Fine, will do this extra role but will not go above than that. But it seems, the PM love to 'taichi' all non related stuff to my side .... gosh .... bloody hell - in order to meet ur timeline and clearing your shit, you just push it to others.
• No way for me.... as i just act don't care and blast back telling this is not related to me and please escalate to someone else.
• Coming to the vendor, i will never wanna work this vendor X again .... shitty project team from the vendor side.

• Can't wait till tomorrow ... is my company family day again. Yes, time to enjoy myself out there and win many prizes from telematch.

New Chow Yang restaurant

• Celebrate Uncle Rodney 60th Bday.
• Was impress by the ambience and deco.

Being that it's 2008, I figured it's a good idea to make eight tech predictions for the year. I've divided the predictions into good news and bad news. Let's start with the negative (it's always better to get the bad news out of the way).

1. Number portability will be further delayed

We've been talking about mobile number portability (MNP) for several years. According to a news report dated Oct 28, 2004, Malaysian mobile phone users were supposed to be able to keep their phone numbers even when they switched to another telco by mid-2005.

This is meant to encourage fierce competition amongst the telcos. Needless to say, none is exactly thrilled or eager to see the implementation happen. MNP is slated to begin in the first half of this year, with full rollout by year's end. I'll believe it when I see it.

2. WiMAX implementation will also be delayed

When the four WiMAX licensees were announced last year, there were shockwaves in the industry because none of them were big players. WiMAX is a big players' game because the cost of the rollout is huge. The original deadline for initial rollout was end 2007, which has come and gone. That deadline has been revised to mid-2008. For those of you hoping to get a new wireless alternative to Streamyx this year, I say: "Don't hold your breath".

3. People still won't be using 3G

Actually, wireless Internet access is already available in the form of 3G although it's not really designed to be a Streamyx alternative (there would be serious congestion if people started to switch en masse from Streamyx to 3G).

The take-up rate is still sluggish because prices are still not low enough and content is still quite shabby. People just don't see a pressing need for high-speed Internet access for their phones. This had led to a vicious cycle where customers won't adopt 3G because content is poor and content providers won't invest in 3G because the addressable market is small. Don't expect this situation to change anytime soon.

4. New Media still ruled by blogs

Blogs are very useful, especially for political commentary and insight (and in some cases, for humour and comic relief). But blogs are old hat. In fact, they really shouldn't be considered a form of New Media anymore as they are quite mainstream.

What's missing in the local New Media landscape are podcasts and videocasts - far richer media with greater potential for innovative advertising. While there are literally tens of thousands of bloggers, I don't know of even one regular podcaster in this country. Our New Media guys are still too enamoured of blogs for there to be any change this year. Okay, enough doom and gloom, time now for the positive.

5. iPhone will come to Malaysia unlocked

The much hyped iPhone will finally reach our shores this year and unlike in the case of the US and some European countries, the version sold here will be unlocked. Malaysia is a relatively small mobile market, too small for Apple to bother with hooking up with any one telco, locking-in iPhone owners to that telco, and demanding a cut of the telco's revenue. This is simply too much hassle for our little market.

6. Internet won't be censored

The government made the right decision when it decided not keep the Internet cencorship-free. This was part of its Bill of Guarantees when it launched the Multimedia Super Corridor. Although there have been misguided calls by some politicians for the government to clamp down on freedom of expression on the Internet, so far the government has not reneged on its promise to keep the Internet free for censorship. I don't see this changing.

7. Telco price war continues

Some people might not have noticed it but there are now three new players in the local telco scene: U Mobile (which has a 3G license), Tune Talk (which is supposed to be a no-frills Mobile Virtual Network Operator) and Happy (a kind of no-frills MVNO from DiGi.Com). Although I don't see any of these new entrants eating into the three incumbents' market share in any given significant way' their very presence and their aggressive pricing policy will result in a continuation of the price war, which can only benefit consumers.

8. More states will become WiFi enabled

The notion of providing state-wide WiFi access has already been taking up by Perak and Melaka. Recent news also indicate that Kuala Lumpur is headed that way. This is a trend that will grow, especially in light of the fact that the WiMAX rollout is likely to be delayed. Sure, WiFi has its shortcomings. The need for a lot of base-stations to cover a large area is the most obvious one. But WiFi is a proven technology, most laptops are WiFi enabled and it's relatively cheap and easy to deploy. I see more states signing up to be WiFied.

16th January - KLSE DROP 52 points

• Thou is market drop badly but turn out to be quite a good and lucky day for me to have a big client.
• This guy knows me from my trading blog and he follow in one of my tip - Tanjong and he make money out from there.
• At 4pm+, i was in a meeting until he msn me and saw klse dropping down badly ... he ask me wat counter to buy in and i was so busy with my work and i told him - don't buy today and wait till friday as it will drop again.
• Then out of my suprise, he ask for my account number and ask me to buy any counter for him which think is potential. When he mention 6-figure, i was stunt and suprise .... damn it....faster exit my meeting, prepare the contract and fax to him.
• His investment capital overtook one of my largest account holder of 4-figure.

Too healthy or Too sick?

• This happen after a day of my badminton session on Monday. It trigger when one of the player talk to me after the badminton session.
• He saw me playing since 8.30pm till 11.30pm and rest one game and was playing none-stop .... he ask me how come my stamina was so good. This guy was very fit with muscle.
• I told him i dunno y cause even saturday session, i feel not enuff. Just jokingly told him that maybe I need to see doctor, maybe i am sick and dunno where the energy come from.

Boss in hospital

• Call up my boss to ask him something ... his voice was bad.
• Then after few hrs, got to know he been admitted to hospital.
• Today during lunch, went and visit him and he is alright now.

Louis New born baby

• Congrats to my very good buddy - Louis known as Sai L.....finally he is a father.
• 3.42kg - baby boy....
• Can't wait to see his baby boy...

CNY Shopping @ Tesco Puchong

• Me and Yve was on leave. So we decided to go Tesco to shop for CNY goods.
• Bought lots of soft drink and junk food.
• To my suprise, on a normal weekday...many ppl shop at Tesco too.

Bloody 'M' Tenant

• Went to Tenaga to check out the outstanding amount of the runaway tenant.....shock to see it was amount due at RM 900 .... settle via credit card.
• Then call up Syabas to check outstanding amount .... damn it.... RM 400 ....need to settle it before the new tenant move in this March.
• Me n yve was cursing the runaway M tenant ... we learn from our expensive lesson ... even thou u manage to collect your rental every month, but will be good if we check via Tenaga & Syabas to see your current tenant got pay off the utility bills.
• We get the contractor to quote us to remove the partition, painting and 2 remove sign board .... aihhh ...another 1k gone.
• Me n yve will take away their PC, Chairs, Tables, TV rack and sell it at cheap price.

Uncle Rodney 60th bday celebration

• 9th Jan Wednesday, after work, straight drive to the New Chow Yang restraurant at Section 19, PJ to celebrate Uncle Rodney bday.
• It was a family gathering as well and he open two table dinner. Met my cousins again and we just chit chat .....
• I was amazed by the restaurant design...very impressive. Food was so-so only and the carpark is terible. If you go there, then you will know the carpark is terrible.

Police Report

• Before we can officially to break-in into our own shop, we went and lodge a police report at Klang.
• Spent an hour at the police station to complete my report thou is a bit crowded. I target to spent bout 2 hrs at police station initially. I was just amazed to see some of the police staff...their 5 fingers wearing nice and big shining rings and some of them carrying latest handphone model as well .... wow .... even with my decent earning, cant afford to buy those new hp.
• Heard the victim on my right side of me that his house has been robbed and on my left side is a nurse that she has been rob .... yewll....ugly ler.
• Anyhow, back to my case .... after made the report ... told that I don't need to meet the sergeant but instead to engage with my lawyer to request for the court order.
• Damn it ... thought after making the report ... i can straight break-in my shop and see the condition inside.

1st injury of the year

• Due to my fault that I did not warm up at all and went straight for badminton game.
• Always thought badminton is the much safer sports to play but I am wrong. Last year, my head got whacked by a racquet. But i am wrong.....
• Anyhow really enjoy the game so much and sweat out a lot.

Busy at work again

• As expected, after long holidays....my users start to call and send emails and more new application and service request to be build and integrate.
• Sometimes, I can go koo-koo .... to release this stress .... better hide in snake cave .... kekeke.

Weight myself again - lose another half kilo

• Since x'mas till now....losing 4.5kg .... not bad.
• My aim is 10kg first and maintain a while and then try to reduce another 2-3kg more.
• Next plan is to do full blood and body check-up.

4th January - first 6 digit investment of the year

• Suprise with the TM dividen announcement .. analysis team give a go ahead to contra play.
• Bought 10 lot of TM counter (5 for my client & 5 for myself) @ RM 12. My first 6 digit investment of the year. Cost RM 120k .... a good agressive start.

6th January - New tenant

• Afternoon, went to Klang to meet potential tenant for ground floor.
• My previous tenant at ground floor ran away. Thank goodness.....out of no where....a female property agent give me a call whether am I interested to rent out my ground floor thou there is billboard of the previous company and i did not put up any rent banner.
• So I agreed to meet this guy .... he wanna to rent to sell electronic  component. We had quite a long discussion as I got previous experience with tenant .... hehehe .... and is my first time to meet the property agent.
• Conclude deal:-
  - 2 months of security deposit + 1 month of advanced rental payment.

• Very tired and sleepy this whole weekend .... need to recharge my energy with beautiful sleep.
• Give my ZTE wireless broadband modem to my bro in law....hope his connection is fast at his place. He gave me a call and told me his speed is fast .... great!
• Recently Maxis wireless broadband is at superb speed....cross finger and pray it will maintain it speed.
